One Slip Dress, Six Ways [PART 1]

With the temperature on a tremendous rise, the only trend that I am happy being in, is the 'Slip Dress'! Reminiscent of the '90s, this is definitely going to be my summer uniform this year.
For my love of bringing out the versatility of a garment, I decided to create six looks with my silky finish slip from H&M. It's going to be a three part series, make sure you catch 'em all.

This look gives more of a date night vibe, & with slip dress being a romantic closet must-have, I didn't mind that all! I layered a patterned midi skirt beneath the slip dress. It created an illusion of a midi dress with a flared hem! I made sure that the colour tone of both the pieces are on the same lines, so that they don't look like separates.

Finally slipped into metallic gold pointed pumps & added oversized hoops to complement the attire. I also did low bun with few hair strands pulled out and put on a dash of red on the lips, as the final touch.

I planned to keep this look as a fancy daytime ensemble by wearing the slip dress as a top, knotted at the waist alongwith distressed denims & a printed summer blazer. Paired this style with dainty earrings and mules for a structured, feminine look!
Finally, adedd subtle hint of pink lipstick & a side bun, before heading out!
You can also sport this look at work by switching the denims with a pair of trousers & a matching blazer. Pant-suit lovin'?

I shot this look at this amazing place called Pitstop BrewPub (in Gurgaon), for its eccentric interiors comprising old rustic wooden panelling and quirky furniture, with soft lighting!
And for a food magnet like me the delicacies were a cherry of the cake.

PART 2 would be up soon. So stay tuned.
Much Love :*
