#Revived | Mehendi ft. The Loom

As you know, the whole idea behind this series was to break the norm of wearing blingy & OTT outfits to wedding functions, create looks that are affordable and basically, to add a #revived piece from my mom's closet.

So coming to the mehendi look, I decided to go monotone this time & picked this unconventional kurta set from The Loom. Made using Khadi Cotton, the asymmetrical kurta paired up with palazzo, with intricate quilt detailing at the hem was a light & effortless choice to manage all the hustle-bustle of the occasion!

Carrying a dupatta with henna on your hands become a task for many & you either end up pinning it up or opting for an outfit that doesn't involve one. I did not want either of the above options, so I decided to go the belted way! This beautiful phulkari embroidered dupatta is one of my mom's treasured possession & it ended up being a perfect match to my attire.

Added dainty gold elements in the form of an intricately detailed maangti…

#Revived | Engagement

#Revived? Yes, that's what my latest wedding outfit series is called. Why? Because for each occasion I wore something that is revived or restored after decades.

Coming to this look, the 'engagement look' to be precise, I pulled out my mom's wedding lehenga & decided to pair it with a basic off shoulder top. The idea behind styling it with something ba…

One Trench Coat, Five Ways

Finally, posting this long awaited lookbook that I shot for Cosmopolitan India, where I styled a trench coat by Monte Carlo in five different ways!
We all know that how winter outfits burn deep holes in our pockets, and me being someone who doesn't invest much in warm clothes because winters are now limited to just 2 months, I thought of bringing out the versatility of this piece & styling five looks totally different from one another.

Here I styled this trench coat as a dress & paired it with calf length socks & booties! Added a black handbag & geeky glasses, also regular side swept wavy hair before heading out.  This look is ideal for a day out with friends for shopping, movie or a brunch!

Boots - Westside | Bag - Forever 21 | Socks - Thrifted

For those days when you don't want to try too hard with styling your look you can pair your boot-cut denim alongwith a striped tee & slip into your favourite sneakers and finally layer a sassy trench c…
