Sporty Edit

The whole idea of defining my personal style leaves me baffled because if you guys have judged, I don't really have any signature style! I am one of those fashion enthusiasts who prefer styling a look on the basis of comfort, occasion & how effortlessly I can carry it.

Coming to today's post, the whole idea behind creating this look was not just the humid humidd weather but also because I have never sported something on these lines.

I have been looking for a t-shirt dress since quite sometime now, struck by the 'sports luxe' arrow you see, but instead of going for the styles available in the market, I decided to pick a basic tee (in XL size) from the men's section.  And this made realize that we have been wearing a t-shirt dress all our lives, either stolen from boyfriend or brother’s closet. I decided to dress it down & added a pair of espadrilles with leather patch detailing & a baseball cap! Finally oversized glasses & a pop of bright pink on the …

Throwback Time

Cutwork embroidery has been quite popular this season, & was seen in almost everything be it dresses, shoes or bags! This elegant & intricate vintage technique not just lends a see through look, but is a beautiful amalgamation of delicate meets modernity.

Calling this post 'throwback time' because each detail used to style this outfit is a trend from the past, and yet combining them together gives a contemporary vibe to the overall look. While the shirt was chosen to balance the outfit, the high-waisted shorts perfectly accentuated the waist.

While in some outfits, accessories either play a major role in building the look or go unnoticed, but for this attire each accessory was picked as a missing part of this outfit puzzle. I layered …

One top, four ways [PART 2]

This post is in continuation to the PART 1 of the 'One top, four ways' series. The two looks featured below are poles apart in terms of styling, appearance et al, despite the off shoulder top being the common factor in both the outfits. Wherein one outfit can be your favourite Day-To-Night Look in case you are in no mood to wear a dress or skirt to a party that you are heading out straight from an eventful day! And the other outfit can be the one to please your fusion taste.

Despite being a basic pairing of a top with high-waisted jeggings, what made this look stand out was the statement neckpiece. To compliment the overall attire I chose these nude stilettos, added a pop of bright pink on the lips to balance the light hues.

The whole idea behind this look was that a lot of us often complaint of not having enough clothes to wear, despite of that overflowing wardrobe but how clever accessorising brings out the best & turn the basic combinations into a stylish one.
