Fusion Errday

It's kind of annoying that I announced this post weeks back and shot it almost a month back, and it took so much of time to finally put it into words! Too demotivated these days, is what I would suffice it into. But anyhow, better late than never.

I picked this dress while I was deciding on what to wear for my best friend's wedding and got to wear it on her mehndi, because like always I did not want to go mainstream with my look. While the kurta/ dress exhibited modernity, I decided to add ethnic elements to it.

This vivid orange piece with contrasting border caught my eyes for its style (loved the knotted straps detailing) and the humongous girth at an extremely affordable price! Instead of wearing it as a kurta I styled it like a dress and wore it with my tan brogues and added a dainty silver coin neckpiece to amplify the ethnic vibe.

A sleek low bun with subtle makeup and a red bindi (complementing the print) to add a final touch to the look.

Why the caption? Well, I have been documenting my fusion looks on Instagram under this hashtag since quite some time now and I felt it definitely deserved a presence on my blog.
