Review | Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lipcolor

Being someone who prefers matte over creamy, gel or any other texture for a matter of fact that it has a longer stay, looks rich & intense, laying my hands on Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lipcolor was like going totally in the opposite direction of my kind of beauty products! But since I heard rave reviews about this range by the international bloggers, I knew I had to give it a try.

Though the Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lipcolor range is available in 15 beautiful shades, I picked five of them for this review. I loved the variety of hues offered & the fact that these lipsticks a really moisturising & keeps your lips hydrated, that you don't even require to wear a lip balm underneath.

Pricing: 899 INR each

Packaging: Each slimline lipstick comes in a color coded matching metallic body. The slanted tips makes the application really convenient!
Strong fragrance & they also have a tinge of fruity flavour in it.

Shades:
HD Lava
HD Vineyard
HD Arabica

HD Pink Cloud
HD Blossom

HD Coral
HD Tropical
HD Dawn
HD Sand
HD Garden
HD Rhubarb
HD Desert
HD Twilight
HD Sunset
HD Adobe

As per the brand, Revlon Ultra HD Gel Lipcolor is high definition, lightweight gel-color with ultra hydration that will accentuate the tender lips.
These lipsticks are formulated in a gel base & easily glides on your lips! I feel it's the perfect amalgamation of a lip balm & highly pigmented lipcolor.

HD Lava - A beautiful red shade which is super creamy & completely settles on your lips! The warm undertones makes me love it a little more.

HD Vineyard - Though is looks like a really dark violet shade as per the first impressions, but once applied it turned out to be a berry hue on a lighter side)

HD Arabica - I am not really a 'brown' lipshade lover but this one is an absolute stunner. One can easily wear it work & transition it for a night out!

HD Pink Cloud - This a more of a lip balm hue for me & required 3-4 applications for full opacity. It may not be suitable for every skin tone.

HD Blossom - One of my favourite out of the lot, this bright lilac shade adds a freshness to your look.

Pros
  • Lightweight
  • Highly pigmented
  • Non Sticky
  • Ultra hydrating formula with hyaluronic acid

Cons
  • Not transfer proof
  • Flavour & fragrance might be an issue for some
  • Not very affordable

These lipstick manages to stay for 3-4hrs & do not dry out the lips at all! One thing that I felt was that they are extremely soft & tend to break during the application, so I would suggest you to keep this in mind while applying it.

Rest assure, this range is definitely worth a try for its vibrant shades & ultra moisture formula!
Do let me know which one's your favourite out of these five.

Until next time :*
Much Love!
