Amazon India Fashion Week AW17: Day 2

After an amazing Day 1, I was immensely excited for Day 2 since the designers line up for the day, pretty much had my favourites!
For this day, I decided to pick the embroidered trend wherein I paired an oversized shirt (with embroidery detailing) alongwith a lace skirt. The catch here is that I layered the skirt beneath the shirt
(somewhere on the lines of what I did with my slip dress - HEREwhich gave it an illusion of being a shirt dress with lace around the hem!
Added gold details to this monotone look with a sling and floral flat mules! I did a minor DIY trick with the sling by pasting an elephant patch on it and tadaa.. I had a revamped version!
Kept it minimal with no jewellery, per se! For hair I did a sleek low ponytail, with pink hue on the lips.

SHOWS I LOVED
Huemn by Pranav & Shyma opened with a bang, with a video of regular people talking about 'What is HUEMN?' being showcased! The diversification depicted through the collection deserved the accolades; with the designers launching their first line of denims and raincoats, the collection also offered ultra-feminine tulle floral dresses, quilted bomber jackets, pantsuits to name a few.

Hemant and Nandita's AW17 collection was a beautiful amalgamation of feminine dresses & strong silhouettes! The long jackets & coats over voluminous floral dresses in warm pastel hues exhibited a soft blend of power and volume. Elongated sleeves, corset belts and socks with heels added an extra charm to the range.

This time with their AW17 collection - TELEFUNK, Pankaj and Nidhi decided to stick majorly with the black & white palette, and for monochrome lovers like me it was an alluring sight to the eyes! Towards the end hint of Yves Klein blue was added to the collection, for that fun element. The variation in terms of fabric, textures & patterns maintained the zeal & freshness. It included everything from boxy jackets to co-ord sets, cutwork capes, skirts and more!

Though I missed Péro by Aneeth Arora, by the looks of it, it definitely ended the day on a splendid note!
