A day at Annamaya








I recently got a chance to experience this beautiful European-style food hall called Annamaya at Andaz, Delhi. With a fun, vivid yet minimal décor, this place is divided into various sections such as desserts, beverages, live kitchen & tandoor, and more! 

Their menu involves dishes made using locally sourced organic artisanal products, with an aim of :

{Roasted New Potatoes, Zakiya seeds}

Coming to the food, I ordered Roasted Potatoes with Zakia Seeds and trust me it tasted really good. I preferred having a smack of it alone rather than clubbing it with a bread or a gravy dish.
Their Linguini tossed with asparagus, garden peas, snow peas and poached eggs is something you should definitely give a try! Not very high on flavour but it would be an ideal pick if you prefer simple, creamy food. 
My food experience without Paneer Tikka would have been incomplete. Served with mint chutney, these large chunks of Goat Milk Paneer were crispy and well marinated on the outside & extremely soft on the inside. Thumbs up to it!

Ordering an Iced Frappe instead of a mocktail turned out to be a great decision, not because their mocktails are not good, they are highly recommended by a friend who ordered one, but being a sucker for iced coffee this was one of the best I have tasted in recent times!  
Alongwith it I also tried a very unique dish made with aloevera and grow-to-eat microgreens placed over grilled rye bread! Contrary to what I thought the aloevera tasted good & is ofcourse, a healthy option as well. 
Finally, wrapped the day with a vanilla eclair & classic doughnut topped with hot white chocolate! 

Apart from the above, I also recommend:
  • Char Roast Carrots with Himalayan Honey & Black Onion Seeds
  • Iced Frappe (I will mention about this again, because it was AMAZINGG!) 
  • Brocolli Pakoras
  • Fire Roast Tomato, Basil Naan, Burrata, Lime & Honey

I dressed easy in a midi dress layered under a blazer with padded shoulders, paired with oxford heels & these stunning coin earrings! A pop of pink over the lips before heading out.
