Amazon India Fashion Week SS17: Day 5

Since the last day of the fashion week was all spectacular & vivid, I decided to go for an outfit with a mix of both. I picked this aesthetically pleasing, handpainted shirt dress and paired it with these dusty rose sneakers.
Dusty rose is my new favorite by the way, definitely a must have!

To add a fusion vibe to the look I decided to sport a sleek low bun and wore a pair of beautifully crafted Peacock earrings with tiny pearl drops. Added a tint of blue & green on the eyes, before heading out!

Day 5 at Amazon India Fashion Week SS 17 began with a jewellery shocase by Felix Bendish, Mine of Design by Ambar Pariddi Sahai, Whatever by Abhishek Kankaria & Shrruti Tapuria.
This was followed by Rehane's collection showcase which included easy flowy silhouettes, with floral ornamentation on a pastel palette with outfits giving those perfect summer vibes.
Soltee by Sulakshana Monga displayed elegant, modernised gowns with glamorous cut details & embroidered embellishments. Divya Khosla Kumar as the showstopper was an added charm to the showcase.

Dhruv Vaish
Vidyut Jamwal for Pawan Sachdeva
Sahil Aneja
We tend to preconceive that there is not much scope of experiment when it comes to menswear. But this show definitely defied that notion for me!
While Dhruv Vaish presented a riot of geometric patterns, bold prints with classic structured silhouettes on a vibrant colour palette.
Pawan Sachdeva's collection offered layering options like bomber jackets, light summer jackets & more. Absolutely loved the embossing & cut work details. Hands down my favorite!
Last but definitely not the least was Sahil Aneja's showcase which was dominated by pastel hues. Loved how he played with the layers with shirts longer than the blazers, sweatshirts etc.

The grand finale of Amazon India Fashion Week Spring Summer 17 saw the 'guru' (JJ Valaya) and the 'shishya' (Alpana-Neeraj)come together to create phenomenal masterpieces. It involved both JJ Valaya's grandeur & Alpana-Neeraj's modernity. The collection had modern as well as festive vibes and was an ideal synonym to finest craftsmanship. Resplendent, to say the least!
